Originating from the Steel City, Lilbadkatt draws inspiration from the cultural richness of the city as well as her own life experiences and passion for developing moving, fun music. She began her journey in entertainment dancing through graduate school and building a small community on Tik Tok, bonding together through LGBTQ+ and Asian-American experiences. From there, she was inspired by the iconic sounds of Gen Z - heavy 808s, experimental vocal tones, and artists who embrace a wide variety of genres. Her lifelong favorite artists include Kesha, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga - more recently, she has been bumping Cardi B, Doja Cat, and Billie Eilish. Currently, Katt is in the second year of her master's degree while working at the largest healthcare organization in Pennsylvania while pursuing her true love of music.
